Season 1 - Hollywood Beat

McCarren and Rado may be cops, but they have a soft spot for Hollywood's shady characters. There's a caped eccentric named Captain Crusader and a lovable bag lady known as Lady Di. This is a place where prostitutes possess hearts of gold and the police sport perfect teeth. Their supervisor, Capt. Biddle (Edward Winter), is a strict martinet who often critiques their methods. However, they have the support of George Grinsky, an openly gay former football star who runs a rundown diner called “La Cage aux Grease." McCarren and Rado are on the trail of a dangerous individual targeting the street community. The homeless are being beaten and burned, prostitutes are turning up dead, and tensions are rising.
